Hotel Palazzo Grillo  is  located in the pedestrian area in the Old town of Genoa, it is not allowed to enter by private car.
We advise you to be careful not to enter the ZTL area, if not, inform the reception.
THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE PRIVATE PARKING, there are numerous parking spaces about 5 minutes by walk.
 
You may park in the numerous Parking spaces near the Aquarium (500 meters).
We suggest you:
 
1. Discounted parking: MARINA PORTO ANTICO PARKING (https://goo.gl/maps/Wjm7UYCZoFt2eWGz7), in Calata Salumi and Molo Ponte Morosini (500m by passing in Piazza Caricamento / Piazza Banchi) and it offers more than 230 places open to the public with a discounted price (25€ for 24 hours) with spaces for electric charging.
You can go directly to the parking and then ask for the discount validation to the reception during the check in process. 
This parking might be crowded on weekends/holidays.
 
2. Non discounted parking: PARCHEGGIO PICCAPIETRA (https://goo.gl/maps/t4hKiY3MociqSx5u6) near Piazza de Ferrari (500m by walk) offering more than 500 parking slots at 25€ for 24 hours.

From Piazza Principe Station:
 
We offer a transfer service with fixed rate for every destinations arrival-return rides.

1. BUS 35 (10 minutes)  stop in Piazza De Ferrari (450 mt from Palazzo Grillo):
From Piazza de Ferrari take Salita San Matteo (left side facing Palazzo Ducale), arrive in Piazza San Matteo and take Vico San Matteo upto *Piazza Campetto.
 
2. Subway from Principe stop (5 minutes from FS Station) get off San Giorgio stop (25mt):
Head to Piazza Caricamento and go right in Via al Ponte Reale, go straight uptop *Piazza Campetto.
 
3. Normal Taxi - tell the driver to drop you off in Piazza Campetto, 20 metres from the Hotel. We specify that Piazza Campetto is reachable by taxi without any problems.
 
from **Piazza Campetto, take Vico della Chiesa delle Vigne, infront of OVS Shop, pass by Piazza delle Oche and arrive in Piazza delle Vigne.
 
4. Way by walk (about 25minutes)
From Piazza Acquaverde take Via Balbi, go straight upto Piazza della Nunziata. Straight again until Via Emilio Bensa and reach Largo della Zecca. From there go right in Via Cairoli upto Piazza della Meridiana. Take the alley Quattro ai Canti di San Francesco and reach Via Posta Vecchia, go right in Via delle Vigne and reach Piazza delle Vigne.
From the airport:

1. Volabus, get off the 3rd stop Piazza de Ferrari/City Center (8-10 minutes from Palazzo Grillo):
From Piazza de Ferrari take Salita San Matteo (left side facing Palazzo Ducale), arrive in Piazza San Matteo and take Vico San Matteo upto Piazza Campetto, take Vico della Chiesa delle Vigne, infront of OVS Shop, pass by Piazza delle Oche and arrive in Piazza delle Vigne.
 
2. Normal Taxi - tell the driver to drop you off in Piazza Campetto, 20 metres from the Hotel. Campetto is reachable by taxi without any problems.

LAST DAYS OF THE EXHIBITION

’68. A Year on the Border by Uliano Lucas

 

The photographic exhibition ’68. A Year on the Border by Uliano Lucas, hosted in the PRIMO PIANO exhibition space at Palazzo Grillo, is drawing to a close.

There are just a few days left to immerse yourself in the photographs of one of Italy’s most important photographers and retrace the hopes, tensions and major social transformations of that period.

 

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until Sunday 9 August:

 

Friday: 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm

Saturday and Sunday: 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm
